We
are delighted to be your hosts for the 2008
Utah DanceSport Championships at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi,
Utah. This event will take place on Saturday, February 2.
We will be celebrating our 12th
year as this event continues to grow in both entries and stature.
This event brings some of the finest ballroom competitors in
the Intermountain West and like the previous year, we will have
entries from California, Illinois and other parts of the United
States.
We are pleased to have ABC's "Good Things Utah" cast providing this year's floor
show. They will be performing ala "Dancing with the Stars!" This
will be fun for everyone. Also, we would like introduce this year our "Showcase
of Champions". All first place couples and Formation teams will have
an opportunity to showcase their winning numbers in the evening. This is an event
you will not want to miss!
And as tradition, pizza, cake and drink will be available for all of our competitors
at the conclusion of our ballroom event, Saturday evening. This promises to be a
fun
weekend for all.
